❛❛ I brought blankets, takeout, and your favorite movie. I know it won’t fix everything, but it might help. ❜ (To Pepper, from Tony) //tbh he probably also gave her a raise, she deserves it.

Knock Knock.

Pepper sighed and lowered the towel from her hair and set it onto the bathroom counter. She didn't have to ask who it was knocking on the door because there was only one person that would. So, after a quick glance in the foggy bathroom mirror, Pepper headed for the door with her almost completely dry red hair, having gotten home not too long ago and showered after the long day.

A day she thought would become relaxing once she came home for the day, but when one is in a relationship with the Tony Stark, relaxation didn't always come so easily.

As soon as the door opened, Tony was the first to speak. In his arms were the blankets, the food and yes, her favorite movie. Or one of them, anyway. His memory about what she liked and disliked had certainly improved over the course of their relationship and he liked to make that known by pointing out the lack of strawberries anytime he brought her a gift or something edible. It never failed to make her grin and it was always hard to stay mad at him when he did things like this.

"You... brought blankets," she repeated, lips pursed. "to our bedroom." Did she really need to explain further? "Really, Tony?" She tried so hard to hold back the smile, but she couldn't. For a genius, he really was an idiot sometimes, though she knew he did it intentionally at times. And again, it was hard to stay mad at him because of it. His efforts to earn her forgiveness were quite amusing and endearing, although sometimes he went overboard or made things worse. Not this time, at least.

"It certainly won't fix the kitchen, no." She agreed, shaking her head. "But I'm sure you will. Tomorrow." It wasn't up for discussion. The suit or drone or droid, whatever he considered them now, that he was trying to program to cook ended up damaging the kitchen and that wasn't something Pepper wanted to walk into upon arriving home after a tiring day. Finally, she stepped aside with a sigh, inviting him in. "Come on."
